Sabine River Authority in Louisiana is seeking a park grounds maintenance worker to join our team at the Toledo Bend area. The role involves daily cleaning, grounds care, and basic facilities upkeep on park grounds, with some weekend work included.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects cabins, restrooms, pavilions, offices, and other buildings on a daily basis.
• Picks up, collects, and disposes of trash, garbage, litter, and debris.
• Mows and trims grass, prunes shrubs, weeds flower beds, sands, rakes leaves, and pine straw.
• Changes linens, washes dishes, operates washers and dryers, folds and bags linens and towels, picks up supplies, and notifies office personnel of needed maintenance.
• Paints buildings, trash barrels and picnic tables, performs manual labor.

About this Position

This position will be working on one of the park grounds. Our parks are open 7 days a week, and the schedule will include working some weekends.

No experience or training is required.

Position Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational

Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.

Work Schedule: This position will include working some weekends.
