Job summary

Jurupa Area Recreation & Parks District seeks a part-time Park and Facilities Maintenance Worker II to maintain and repair park facilities, buildings, athletic fields, and irrigation systems. You will work independently and with teams to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics of park amenities.

The role requires knowledge of irrigation, electrical/plumbing basics, carpentry, and welding. Candidates should be able to lift and operate related equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain

Qualifications

• Knowledge of irrigation systems, troubleshooting irrigation malfunctions, and basic electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Ability to identify leaks, hazards, and perform safety compliant tasks in outdoor park settings.
• Experience with basic carpentry, welding, and maintenance work is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on park facilities, buildings, and irrigation systems.
• Repair playground equipment, benches, and park amenities.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain records of repairs and labor hours.
