Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 to support the upkeep of park buildings, equipment, and landscapes. The role uses carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, and equipment operation to keep facilities safe and functional for visitors.

This full-time position runs typical hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with seasonal shift variations.

Qualifications

• Two years as Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building/plant maintenance with at least two trades.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training satisfying required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
• Special requirement: Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry: repair or install wooden structures and fixtures across park facilities.
• Plumbing: fix leaks, open drains, maintain plumbing systems.
• Masonry: build/repair concrete forms, walkways, walls, foundations.
• Electrical: replace wiring, fixtures and related components.
• Operate vehicles and machinery to support daily maintenance.
• Landscape care: maintain turf, trails and outdoor areas.
