Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 to support park facilities across the Shikellamy State Park Complex. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, equipment operation, and landscape tasks to keep buildings safe and operations smooth.

This full‑time role follows a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with shifts varying by season.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years in building/plant maintenance with two trades involved.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that covers required knowledges, skills and abilities.
• Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry to repair or install wooden structures and fixtures across park facilities.
• Fix leaks, open drains, and maintain plumbing systems throughout the complex.
• Build and repair concrete forms, walkways, walls, and foundations; masonry tasks.
• Replace wiring, fixtures, and related components to keep electrical systems safe.
• Operate vehicles and machinery to support daily maintenance activities.
• Maintain turf, trails, and outdoor areas through mowing, pruning and upkeep.
