Job summary

Maymont Foundation seeks a Facilities and Operations Attendant to handle daily setup/breakdown for rentals and events, sanitation duties across historic gardens and facilities, and support for meetings and programs under supervision.

Responsibilities include cleaning, space preparation, trash/recycling management, and assisting the facilities team with minor repairs while upholding safety policies. The role is full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in sanitation services and/or building maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and use of cleaning materials.
• Ability to read and interpret product labels and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Daily upkeep and litter removal in park facilities, restrooms, and offices; routine cleaning and disinfection; stocking of paper products.
• Maintain park beauty through upkeep of trash and recycling receptacles; remove litter from grounds.
• Support for meetings, rentals and events; space preparation, deep cleaning, moving chairs/tables, packing and cleaning.
• Assist maintenance team with preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and other projects.
• Monitor and report safety/health hazards, pests, maintenance needs and wildlife threats.
