Job summary

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Park Experience & Special Events Manager to lead part-time and seasonal staff within Park Operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across admissions, rides, and events.

Reporting to the Vice President of Park Operations, you will develop SOPs, supervise event staff, coordinate with Catering, Communications, and Development, and help manage the annual operating budget while analyzing guest analytics to maximize visitation and guest engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
1–2 years of supervisor experience in Park Operations or related field.
Must be 21+ years of age with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and promote part-time and seasonal staff for Park Operations.
Oversee gate admissions, interpreters, events, parking, rides and other operations.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for Park Operations.
Schedule part-time staff and ensure adequate coverage for day and evening events.
Collaborate with IT to keep ticketing and analytics up to date.
Monitor equipment and oversee safety and guest experience during events.
