Barren River Lake State Resort Park is currently seeking a Park Desk Clerk. This is an amazing opportunity for someone to join and work with the parks front desk department. If you are a team player and enjoy working with people, delivering great customer service and working in a fun environment then our front desk team is waiting for you. Functioning duties would include checking in, checking out guest, making reservations, assisting guest with needs and delivering the very best customer service to all park guest. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to be the face of the park.
Barren River State Resort Park is located near Kentucky’s famous cave area, which includes Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest cave system in the world. Surrounded by rolling, tree-covered hills, the lodge overlooks the beautiful 10,000-acre lake. The lodge has 51 rooms, offers full amenities, and is open year- round. In addition, the Park features 22 cottages as well as 99 campground sites.
The Park Desk Clerk will report directly to the Park Desk Clerk Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of and to help the Front Desk department and assist in making Barren River a better State Park. This is a full time position with the state of Kentucky, with excellent benefits and retirement.
