Job summary

The City of Lexington is seeking a Park Attendant to perform routine custodial and grounds maintenance at parks and facilities, including cleaning restrooms, opening and closing parks, patrolling, and reporting repairs needed for playground and picnic equipment.

The role also involves checking reservations for ball fields and shelters, assisting with concessions, scorekeeping, crowd control, or other department activities as assigned; requires a valid NC driver’s license and being at least 18

Qualifications

• Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record

Schedule

Works every other Saturday and Sunday from 8am to park close , and possibly Friday evenings.
Works some holidays when the city is closed. May also be asked to fill in for other shifts on weekday evenings and weekend days as needed.
20-25 hours every 2 weeks.
