Overview

As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. You supervise staff, implement operational procedures, and maintain high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Managers are the contact between guests and Kids Empire, responsible for guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing questions or comments from guests while present at Kids Empire. Must interact with families and children of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Attending to guests as quickly as possible, greeting them, and making them feel comfortable in the park ambience.
  • Supervising employees to ensure they perform their duties satisfactorily and achieve production goals.
  • Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
  • Auditing schedules and requesting needed approvals from the Park Manager.
  • Open and close the park using keys or a code.
  • Communicating guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
  • Operate the check-in process by having guests sign liability waivers and capture guest information (address, name, email, phone) using an iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter: handle transactions, manage cash flow, accept payments by cash or card, and provide exact change when needed.
  • Verify billing transactions via the POS system for accuracy.
  • Organize the park refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
  • Check snack inventory and order snacks from vendors to replenish stock.
  • Walk the floor regularly to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures, tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to operate efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
  • Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
  • Work in noisy environments with guests, including children and music.
  • Be able to work in a hectic, busy environment during peak hours.
  • Work in a structured environment and be comfortable with heights.
Qualifications
