Job summary

Standrewpleasanton is seeking a Business Manager to provide essential financial and operational support to the Pastor and School Principal. The role covers accounting, payroll, budgeting and HR, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with Archdiocesan policies.

The BM will manage property, vendor relations, and school finances, participate in Finance Council meetings, and lead staff processes while supporting mission-driven financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years in bookkeeping or accounting; supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and HR concepts; Archdiocesan familiarity preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred but not required; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage parish and school accounting, payroll, AP/AR and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of finances, employment and transactions.
• Coordinate cash flow, banking, taxes, insurance and vendor relations.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and present to Pastor and Finance Council.
• Oversee HR procedures, recruitment, salaries, and staff records.
