Job summary

The Operations Director at Queen of Apostles Parish will serve as a Catholic leader overseeing parish operations, finances, human resources, and facilities. You will work closely with pastoral leadership to steward resources and drive operational excellence within the parish and its school environment.

The role requires a strong background in accounting/finance, HR practices, and proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, along with a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Qualifications

• Must be Catholic and support the Church's teachings.
• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related business practices.
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in Human Resources practices, including people leadership.
• Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate, and communicate parish budgets, annual reports, P&L and balance sheet.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger processes.
• Maintain internal controls, banking relations and vendor contracts.
• Lead parish office staff and coordinate with Pastor and Principal as applicable.
• Manage HR-related policies, salaries, benefits and performance reviews.
