Job summary

Our Lady of the Falls Catholic Community seeks a Senior Director of Missionary Discipleship to lead planning and oversight of parish ministries, grounded in Divine Intimacy, Virtuous Friendship, and Evangelization. You will work with the Pastor to translate the vision across Faith Formation, Youth Ministry, Outreach, Healing Ministry, and more.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic in good standing and devoted to prayer and sacraments
• Bachelor's or master's degree in pastoral studies, theology, church management, business administration, or organizational leadership preferred
• Five or more years of professional leadership experience in a large parish, diocese, or Catholic nonprofit
• Proven ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and lead teams toward shared goals
• Comfort with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, calendars, databases, and standard office tech
• Willingness to learn parish management and church administrative software
• Successful completion of diocesan background checks and Protect and Heal training

Responsibilities

• Lead the long-term vision for parish growth and evangelization using the Win, Build, Send model
• Provide direction, accompaniment, and accountability to all parish ministries to align with Catholic teaching
• Run regular staff meetings to break silos and plan parish-wide events
• Supervise and evaluate professional ministry staff and key volunteer coordinators
• Mentor leaders in leadership, team building, volunteer recruitment, and pastoral care
• Resolve overlaps between programs and address ministry challenges
• Create processes to match parishioners gifts to ministry and onboard volunteer leaders
• Build a pipeline of lay leaders to run small groups and parish organizations
