Job summary

Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church seeks an Associate Director of Evangelization, Engagement, and Adult Formation to join the pastoral team. The role supports and enhances evangelization efforts, fosters discipleship, and coordinates ongoing adult formation for parishioners.

This full-time position collaborates with the Pastor, directors, and volunteers to grow faith and mission within the community. The Associate Director helps implement the parish Discipleship Pathway, develops opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in theology, religious education, pastoral ministry, or related field.
Experience in pastoral ministry, evangelization, adult faith formation, or related area preferred.
Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Responsibilities

Support and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church and parish mission.
Develop evangelization, discipleship, and adult formation initiatives.
Coordinate programs like Alpha, ACTS, retreats, and formation opportunities.
Foster small-group discipleship, spiritual mentorship, and ongoing formation.
Equip lay leaders and volunteers to share their faith through witness, word, and action.
Collaborate with clergy and staff to connect parishioners with formation and service opportunities.
Maintain availability for weekend and evening initiatives.
