Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio seeks an Associate Director of Parish Life to shape vibrant, mission-driven parish communities. You will partner with pastors and parish leaders, equipping them with formation and support to strengthen organizational health and leadership.

This role blends strategic vision with hands-on ministry, leading workshops, coaching pastors, and guiding councils in pastoral planning, synodality, and outreach to parishes and deaneries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience shaping parish life and leadership development.
• Ability to coach pastors and lay leaders in strategic planning and change.
• Experience delivering formation and trainings at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver formation experiences to implement pastoral visions.
• Provide coaching to pastors and parish teams for leadership practices.
• Lead strategic conversations to foster collaboration at parish and deanery levels.
• Champion organizational health and adapt models to parish life contexts.
• Develop guidelines for parish councils aligned with the Archdiocesan vision.
• Create digital content and coordinate communications to amplify outreach.
• Build partnerships with lay movements and Archdiocesan offices.
• Assess parish plans and provide actionable recommendations.
