Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial/management field.
• Understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith.
• Knowledge of human, physical, and financial resources management.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in standard word processing, spreadsheet, database and financial software.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven effective supervisory ability.
• Good organizational, record-keeping and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage and present oneself professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parish finances, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, and supervise staff.
• Maintain payroll and personnel records.
• Liaise between pastor, parish, and Diocese of Richmond on finances.
• Attend finance council meetings and diocesan meetings.
• Ensure compliance with diocese guidelines and policies.
