Job summary

Good Shepherd Catholic Community seeks a Director Finance and Administration to oversee parish finance, HR, and administrative operations. The role reports to the Pastor and ensures alignment with Diocesan policies while supporting the mission of the church.

The position requires ongoing collaboration with parish staff and leadership to manage budgets, vendor relations, donor records, and compliance across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Experience with HR practices and payroll processes.
• Knowledge of diocesan policies and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead parish administrative and financial operations.
• Prepare and manage annual operating budget and reports.
• Ensure budget compliance across departments.
• Oversee donor records, e-giving, and data retention.
• Train staff on vendor management and procurement procedures.
• Coordinate HR processes, evaluations, and job descriptions.
