Job summary

The Maintenance Coordinator at Christ the King Catholic Church – Belton, TX works with the Parish Business Administrator to ensure the reliability and safety of all parish facilities and systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and security.

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) with paid time off and health benefits, requiring self-motivation and the ability to coordinate with staff, volunteers, and vendors to plan repairs, manage bids, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED acceptable to Texas Education Agency.
• Minimum of 3 years’ general maintenance experience.
• English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility components, service schedules, and vendor contacts; oversee preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance with parish volunteers and vendors; assign repairs in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry.
• Perform property inspections and manage logs; coordinate work days with ministries and volunteers.
• Review water and energy usage; adjust irrigation and HVAC programs for efficiency.
• Prepare facilities for meetings and events; run A/V and sound equipment troubleshooting; conduct security checks.
