Job summary

Bethlehem United Methodist Church is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to help keep the building safe, comfortable, and attractive. The role involves hands-on maintenance of the facility and grounds or managing outside service providers as needed.

The position is part-time, approximately 20-30 hours per week, with a pay rate of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience and skill level. Driver's license is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• An attitude of service and the ability to work well with others.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• HVAC experience is highly desired.
• Experience with handyman tasks such as minor repairs, maintenance, painting.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and other church staff; good verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, problem-solver, flexible with meeting deadlines.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to manage to an expense budget.

Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be an important part of the church team, helping ensure the building is safe, comfortable and attractive. The Coordinator will manage the maintenance of the church facility and grounds, through hands-on work or by the management of outside service companies as needed.
