Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a maintenance professional responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe upkeep of parish buildings and grounds across campuses. You will handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and timely responses to requests to keep facilities welcoming and functional.

The role covers carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, grounds care, and event setup. You will work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and must pass a background check

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher and minimum 3 years in building/equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parish buildings and grounds across campuses.
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, water heater, detectors, fire extinguishers, gutters, etc.
• Set up campus hall and meeting rooms; assist with parish clean-up events.
• Safely operate equipment and handle chemicals; keep shop organized.
