Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio Careers is seeking a maintenance technician to care for parish buildings and grounds across Main Campus, Annex Property and Cemetery, performing repairs, preventive maintenance and safety checks.

You will respond to requests, operate light and heavy equipment safely, and support hall setups for events while upholding confidentiality and the organization's conduct guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in building and equipment maintenance or equivalent.
• Able to safely operate ladders, tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance for HVAC, water heaters, detectors and fire extinguishers.
• Set up and organize campus hall and Annex meeting rooms.
• Landscape, mow, edge and maintain grounds and use equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the shop organized.
• Complete work order forms and report progress to supervisor.
