Job summary

Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church is seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator to align parishioners, volunteers, and staff with the church’s mission. You will develop and implement the parish Communications Plan, manage public relations, and ensure consistent branding.

You will lead digital media, maintain the website, livestreams, and social channels, create multimedia content, and monitor policies. Some remote work is possible, with evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic with knowledge of the liturgical calendar and parish rhythms.
• Part-time, non-exempt employment; schedule of 24 hours per week with some evenings/weekends.
• Experience in parish communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the parish Communications Plan in keeping with the parish mission and vision, in collaboration with the Pastor and parish staff.
• Coordinate the development and production of publicity to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
• Lead creative development for the parish website and livestream platform.
• Design and maintain parish social media channels and publish fresh content.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and help manage budgets for marketing and communications.
