Job summary

EPIC - Every Person Influences Children in Buffalo seeks a Program Coordinator ECDSS to work closely with the Erie County Department of Social Services to coordinate referrals for mandated parenting education and enroll participants in FIT virtual workshops. The coordinator will provide coaching, reminders, and follow-up to ensure attendance and supportive application of learned skills.

This is an office-based, full-time role that includes documenting notes, communicating with CPS/CS agencies,

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 2+ years or Master’s with 1 year in Human Services.
• Case management and systems navigation experience.
• Experience connecting people to resources (food, shelter, transportation).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals with Erie County Department of Social Services and promote parent training opportunities.
• Enroll referred participants in appropriate parenting education groups.
• Collaborate with the internal FIT Coordinator to organize materials and paperwork.
• Guide participants through EPIC programs, including initial conversations and reminders of workshop dates.
• Attend workshops as an observer and monitor participants in EPIC programs.
• Enter case notes, maintain reporting, and complete required paperwork for contracts.
