Job summary

You will conduct pre/post assessments, collaborate with caseworkers, and assist with transportation as needed. A BA in human services and at least one year of experience are required; familiarity with Nurturing Parent Program, AAPI, or NSCS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (required).
• At least one year of experience working with families facing challenges.
• Strong knowledge of child development.
• Experience in school, daycare, or family support settings preferred.
• Familiarity with the Nurturing Parent Program, AAPI, or NSCS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate and coach parents on effective parenting skills through observation, modeling, and real-time feedback.
• Supervise parent-child visits in homes, offices, or community settings.
• Ensure the safety of children and intervene when necessary.
• Observe and document interactions, noting strengths and areas for growth.
• Collaborate with caseworkers and provide regular updates on family progress.
• Help parents identify visitation goals and reinforce positive development.
• Conduct pre- and post-assessments using AAPI and NSCS tools.
• Provide transportation for children and families as needed.
