Job summary

Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue is seeking a Front of House Team Member to warmly greet guests, take orders at the counter and drive-thru, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining area. You’ll work with a friendly team in a fast-paced setting that values service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude and make them feel welcome.
• Accurately take orders in-restaurant and drive-thru, enter into POS.
• Provide menu knowledge and suggest add-ons when appropriate.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Process payments, handle cash, and give correct change.
• Maintain dining area, front counter, and restrooms; clear tables and wipe surfaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen and team members to complete orders quickly.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints courteously.

For parents looking for flexibility, our Parent Shift offers 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shifts, starting at $16/hour with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive excellent service and a memorable dining experience. This role involves greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drink orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer with a warm, friendly attitude and ensure they feel welcome.
• Accurately take customer orders in the restaurant and drive-thru and enter orders into the POS system.
• Provide menu knowledge and suggest additional items when appropriate.
• Serve customers promptly and ensure food meets quality and presentation standards.
• Process payments using the POS, handle cash transactions, and ensure accuracy, including providing correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, front counter, and restrooms by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash as needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and other Team Members to ensure orders are completed accurately and quickly.
• Address customer inquiries and proactively work to resolve complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
• Assist Team Leaders and Team Members by refilling beverage containers, ice, condiments, cups, and other supplies. This may involve carrying loads of 25+ lbs. on a daily basis.
• Honor and encourage others to follow and fulfill the purpose and values of Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue.
• Fulfill other suitable duties as assigned by Leaders or Directors.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service or customer service is not required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work outside in the sun.
• Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis.
