Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue is seeking Back of House Team Members to help prepare, cook and assemble menu items with high standards of quality and safety. You will rotate through kitchen stations, maintain cleanliness and follow all health and safety protocols.

You will join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth, training, and scholarship support. Shift options include flexible hours, with Sundays closed and competitive pay for dependable teammates.

Qualifications

• Food service experience not required but preferred.
• Must stand long periods and lift 25 lbs daily.
• Must be 18 years or older at hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and assembles menu items in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards for food quality, safety and presentation.
• Be knowledgeable of all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.
• Stocks and organizes kitchen inventory, ensuring proper rotation and monitoring expiration dates.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized kitchen, following sanitation protocols.
• Works safely with kitchen equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Collaborates with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operation and adapt to shifts.
• Keeps up-to-date on new menu items and training.

For parents looking for flexibility, our Parent Shift offers 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. shifts, starting at $16/hour with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

As a Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will play a key role in ensuring that food is prepared and served quickly, safely, and in accordance with Chick-fil-A’s high standards of quality. You will work in various kitchen stations and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all health and safety regulations. • Works safely with kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or malfunctions to the Director or Team Leaders.
• Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, while being adaptable to various shifts and responsibilities.
• Keeps up-to-date on new menu items, attends all in-house training, and any operational changes, adhering to all Chick-fil-A rules and the dress code at all times.
• Stores inventory supplies in the respective areas. This involves carrying loads of 25+lbs on a daily basis.
• Completes all opening or closing procedures as assigned, ensuring the kitchen is prepared for the next shift.
• Honors and encourages others to follow and fulfill the purpose and values of the Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue.
• Fulfills any other other suitable duties as assigned by the Leader or Director.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience working in the food service industry is not required but would be preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be comfortable working in the heat and in the cold (freezer/fridge).
• Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis.
