Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, FL is hiring Back of House Daytime Team Members. Open positions include both full-time and part-time roles with early morning shifts. Starting pay is $16 per hour for this availability, with Friday and Saturday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and assembles menu items per Chick-fil-A quality standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen stations including fries, breading, assembling and food prep.
• Stocks and organizes inventory and maintains sanitation and safety protocols.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth kitchen operations across shifts.
• Stay updated on new menu items and training; follow dress code.
• Handle inventory loads of 25+ lbs daily and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Encourage others to uphold Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue values.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by Leaders or Director.

We're looking for our next great Back of House Daytime Team Members!

This person MUST be available to work:

• Monday - Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Saturday: 5:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Current Hourly Pay rate for this availability is $16 an hour.

Based on our industry, Friday & Saturday availability is required. Please note hours are earned and not guaranteed!

As a Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will play a key role in ensuring that food is prepared and served quickly, safely, and in accordance with Chick-fil-A’s high standards of quality. You will work in various kitchen stations and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares, cooks and assembles menu items in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards for food quality, safety and presentation.
• Be knowledgeable of all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.
• Stocks and organizes kitchen inventory as needed, ensuring proper rotation and monitoring expiration dates.Maintains a neat, clean, and organized kitchen at all times, following all sanitation and food safety protocols.
• Works safely with kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or malfunctions to the Director or Team Leaders.
• Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, while being adaptable to various shifts and responsibilities.
• Keeps up-to-date on new menu items, attends all in-house training, and any operational changes, adhering to all Chick-fil-A rules and the dress code at all times.
• Stores inventory supplies in the respective areas. This involves carrying loads of 25+lbs on a daily basis.
• Completes all opening or closing procedures as assigned, ensuring the kitchen is prepared for the next shift.
• Honors and encourages others to follow and fulfill the purpose and values of the Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue.
• Fulfills any other suitable duties as assigned by the Leader or Director.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience working in the food service industry is not required but would be preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be comfortable working in the heat and in the cold (freezer/fridge).
• Must be able to lift items over 25 lbs. on a daily basis.
