Job description

We’re looking for a Parent Leave Coach to join MissPoppins, a platform revolutionizing parenting support by connecting families with expert coaches for every stage of parenthood. Our platform manages logistics such as payments, scheduling, profile visibility, and client matching, allowing coaches to focus on guiding parents through planning, taking, and returning from parental leave. We provide automated onboarding, seamless client management, and support to help coaches grow their practice without burnout.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct virtual one-on-one leave-planning consultations to map out timelines, benefits, and legal considerations.
2. Build personalized reintegration plans covering workplace communication, flexible scheduling, and self-care strategies.
3. Educate parents on rights, company policies, and mental health resources during leave.
4. Coach managers on supporting transitioning employees and fostering inclusive, family-friendly workplace cultures.
5. Host webinars on topics like designing return plans and balancing career and caregiving.
6. Provide follow-up support to adapt plans based on changing needs and feedback.
7. Document session notes, action items, and next steps in the MissPoppins coach portal.

Qualifications

• Certification or significant experience in HR, career coaching, or family-support services.
• Understanding of U.S. parental leave laws, employer benefits, and workplace accommodations.
• Trauma-informed, empathetic, and skilled in navigating family dynamics.
• Comfort with technology and valuing flexibility as an independent contractor.
• Focus on coaching outcomes without administrative overhead.
