Job summary

Easterseals Joliet Region is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Parent Educator to support families and help children thrive. You will partner with families, provide guidance, education, and resources that promote healthy child development and strengthen parent-child relationships.

You’ll work one-on-one with parents, facilitate group sessions, and connect families with community supports—all while empowering them to be their child’s first and most important teacher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Child Development, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working with children and families, preferably in an educational or social service setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
