Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Indianapolis, IN is hiring for a Full-time Parcel Freight at our 5851 Guion Rd distribution center. This entry-level role focuses on packaging, manifesting and shipping customer orders via 3rd party carriers, with a 12:00pm-8:30pm shift.

You will help move product through the warehouse and support branch delivery. We value safety and teamwork, provide training, and offer a benefits package for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically weighing 25lbs-50lbs and up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam only)
