MTA New York City Transit Paratransit invites applications for the Command Center Scheduling, Emerging Talent Intern (Spring) position. The internship is onsite at Long Island City, NY, requiring in-person attendance at a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The role supports the Command Center with schedule creation, event coordination, and data reporting while exposing students to transit operations and ADA-compliant services in a federally mandated program.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
• The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.

Responsabilidades

• Create Floater routes to accommodate and support special events and delays in service.
• Assist in the coordination of special event assignments to ensure smooth operations.
• Document and track daily activities and modifications to support monthly summary reports.
• Support research and investigation of customer complaints and service issues for resolution.
• Assist department with the E-hail pilot reconciliation process and reports to maintain accuracy.
• Analyze and update the carrier matrix to improve service coverage.
• Provide assistance in creating grids to support road closures for events.
• Assist in analyzing daily trip forecasts to manage and optimize service needs.
