Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Parasitology Laboratory Technician I to perform routine lab analyses, prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests and read, interpret and release results. The role requires attention to quality, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced veterinary diagnostics environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (science degree or vet tech experience preferred) and experience with lab instruments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Science degree or vet technician experience preferred.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests with lab instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, read, and release lab tests.
• Meet all minimum department requirements for Parasitology readings and releases.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures; maintain clean work area and restock supplies.
• Assist lead or supervisor with rechecks and quality control.
• May perform cross-training for less complex tests and contribute to lab efficiency.
