Job summary

Antech is seeking a Parasitology Laboratory Technician 1 to perform laboratory analyses, prepare samples, set up instruments, run tests, and report results. This on-site role supports the Parasitology team in a fast-paced veterinary diagnostics environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with lab exposure; science or vet tech experience is preferred. This position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science degree or veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Laboratory skills and ability to operate lab instruments.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, runs, reads, and releases lab tests.
• Meet all minimum department requirements for Para and Giardia reading/releasing rates.
• Performs equipment maintenance activities.
• Follows SOPs and safety procedures.
• Restocks supplies.
