Marklund Day School in Geneva, IL, is seeking Paraprofessionals/Teacher's Assistants for our year-round day school. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday, with compensation up to $23.50 per hour depending on experience.

Competenze

• Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required and can be obtained after being hired within 30 days; a $500 bonus is offered for obtaining it.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Mansioni

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students with special needs.
• Provide direct care, attend in-services and other educational functions as required.
• Keep equipment in the classroom clean and provide a safe physical environment for all students.
• Document all goals/programs, including daily participation records after completing tasks with a student.
• Work directly with students one-on-one and in groups outlined in the IEPs.
• Must successfully pass PCM (behavior management) training.

We are seeking exceptional Teacher's Assistants, TA,Paraprofessionalsfor ouryear-round dayschoollocated in Geneva, IL. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday.

Our hourly rate for Life Skills is $20.00 with no experience, $21.00with 2 years of Paraprofessional experience and up to $22.50 with 5years or more of Paraprofessional experience.

With a Bachelor's Degree our hourly rate for Life Skills is $21.00with no experience, $22.00 with 2 years of Paraprofessional experienceand up to $23.50 with 5 years or more of Paraprofessional experience.

About our school:

Marklund Day School is a non-public state-certified school thatpartners with area school districts to provide a highly specializededucation experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-NeedsProgram serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical,developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life SkillsProgram, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualizedfunctional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed onthe Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

Summary of Duties:

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students withspecial needs.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications:
