Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a paraeducator to support students with IEPs, assist with instructional activities, and manage classroom behaviors under the supervision of teachers.

Role may include off-site activities, flexible scheduling, and collaboration with staff to promote student learning and well-being within grade-level or Alternate Academic Achievement Standards contexts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and instructional practices applicable to IEP support.
• Ability to assist with implementation of instructional programs and monitor student behavior.
• Ability to communicate effectively, read/write/speak English, and work with students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional program implementation and monitoring of student behavior.
