Job summary

Forest Hills School District is seeking a Paraprofessional for the 2026-27 school year. The candidate must possess an educational aide permit or be willing to obtain one. Pay rate is $19.41-$24.98 per hour. This position is for a 1 YR Hire/Resign Contract.

Paraprofessionals assist in providing special education services, ensure safety and well-being, and support individualized student programs under teacher supervision.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessionals provide instructional support under teacher direction.
• Candidates may hold an Associate’s Degree or 48 credit hours, or show ESEA Highly Qualified status.
• Exams (Parapro) or official transcripts demonstrating qualifying education are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to individual students or small groups using teacher-provided objectives.
• Assist with classroom materials preparation and student assessments.
• Support behavior management and document student progress and learning styles.
