Qualifications

• Highly Qualified: ESEA designation or passed Highly Qualified Parapro Exam or associate degree or 48 semester hours of college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to individual students or small groups using teacher-developed objectives.
• Assist with assessment, scoring tests and maintaining records.
• Assist with preparation of instructional materials and modifications.
• Operate assistive technology as part of individual programs.
• Assist with behavioral management and crisis situations; support personal and hygienic care.
