Springfield Prep Charter School in Springfield, MA is seeking a Paraprofessional to provide academic and behavioral support in general education classrooms. This role supports students through one-on-one, small-group, and push-in assistance while implementing plans from teachers and leaders.

You will help maintain a positive classroom environment, collaborate with teachers and the School Culture team, and assist with monitoring student progress and behavior throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher is highly preferred.
• Previous jobs, internships, and/or volunteer experiences working with children; experience in elementary or middle school setting preferred.
• You can commit to our schedule: (7:25 am-3:35 pm).

Responsabilités

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in general education classrooms through a combination of one-on-one, small-group, and push-in support.
• Implement instructional plans, curriculum, and interventions prepared by classroom teachers and school leaders with fidelity.
• Support classroom teachers in maintaining a positive, structured learning environment by reinforcing routines and expectations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teachers, and school leaders to support student learning and behavior.
• Provide targeted interventions to individual students or small groups, including students with and without IEPs.
