Job summary

LBAPS is seeking motivated, dependable Registered Behavior Technicians to support children with autism and developmental needs across Staten Island and the greater NYC area. This role offers flexible scheduling with after-school and weekend cases and opportunities for professional growth.

You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy, implement BIPs under BCBA supervision, collect data in Rethink, and collaborate with families and the clinical team to promote communication and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with children preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistent attendance.
• Experience with session note writing and documentation.
• Basic understanding of ABA principles and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
• Support clients in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Collect accurate session data and complete session notes in a timely manner using Rethink

• Help create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for each client
