The Illinois Association of School Administrators seeks a Paraprofessional to assist students with special needs throughout the day, aligning with academic goals and daily routines. Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines. Will assist the student(s) in following a strict schedule and maintaining his/her safety while school is in session. Support the students and teacher to ensure success of each student in meeting his/her IEP goals. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MUSThold an ELS (Paraprofessional) licenseor Professional Educator License(PEL). Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students. Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.
$17.59- $18.84 / Hour. Additional stipends available based upon assignment.
