Job summary
Salem City School District is hiring paraprofessionals on a part-time basis for the 2026-2027 school year. The positions support the Child Study Team within Salem’s school system.
Pay rate is $18–$25 per hour, with a schedule up to 29.75 hours per week. Enrollment in NJ DCRP retirement and group life insurance is provided, along with eligibility for 403b plans and several disability and life insurance options through multiple vendors.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in New Jersey DCRP retirement program and group life insurance through NJ Department of Pensions and Benefits.
- Eligibility for enrollment in 403b Tax Shelter Annuity Plans. Vendors: MetLife/Brighthouse, Equitable, Midland, Lincoln Investment Planning.
- Eligibility for Disability, Life, Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital Confinement Plans with Colonial Life Insurance.
- Eligibility for Disability Insurance with Prudential, Colonial Life, or AFLAC.

8 Paid Sick days, One Personal day, given annually.
