Job summary

Oxford Public Schools in Connecticut is seeking long-term Paraprofessional Substitute to start ASAP for multiple positions. The role involves supporting instructional and behavioral needs for students and may include bus duties as required.

The salary is minimum wage, with consideration based on experience; ongoing training will be provided to carry over and apply skills in daily tasks. Many positions are available for dedicated substitutes.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit or an associates degree or Parapro Test.
• Previous experience with students in inclusive and small group settings preferred.
• Previous experience working with special education students preferred.
• Willingness to be trained to assist instructional and behavioral needs.
• May require placing and securing students on a bus and riding the bus to and from school daily of some students.
• Ability and willingness to carry over and apply skills from ongoing training.
• Duties as assigned by the administration.
