Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent and AA degree or 60 college hours or a passing paraprofessional test.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Preschool/Early Childhood credentials and health certifications listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and classroom management support under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Assist individual students and small groups with learning activities.
• Develop and prepare instructional materials and training modules.
• Support behavior management and social skills development.
• Assist with student enrichment activities and field trips.
• Provide assistance to students with physical limitations and daily living activities.
• Assist with records management and equipment inventory.
• Monitor safety during transitions, meals, and recess.
• Attend in-service training and perform other duties as assigned.
