Job summary

Roosevelt School District 66 is seeking a Paraprofessional III to support General Education, Preschool, Exceptional Student Services and Behavior Support Programs at T.G. Barr Academy of Global Studies.

The paraprofessional will provide instructional and non-instructional support to teachers and students under supervision, assisting with daily activities, testing, and enrichment opportunities.

Qualifications

• English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Attention to detail and patience in supporting learning processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and classroom management under supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Assist with individual students and small groups.
• Develop and prepare instructional materials and training modules.
• Assist with establishing and reinforcing acceptable student behavior and social skills.
• Assist with record keeping, inventory, and supervision during transitions and meals.
