Manteca Unified School District is seeking a paraprofessional to provide instructional and behavioral support to students, helping them achieve learning objectives. The role involves assisting students of various ages with behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps, under supervision of certificated staff.
Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The district emphasizes support services and collaborative work with teachers and staff.
Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.
