Job summary

Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirement

• High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
• AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost If Hired)

• TB Clearance
• Fingerprinting
• Letter(s) of Recommendation
• Paraprofessional Testing (Proof of AA or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college, 48 Semester units OR Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test. Candidates submitting College Degrees or Transcripts from outside of the United States must also attach a certified evaluation of the document(s) verifying equivalency.)
