Manteca Unified School District seeks a paraprofessional to provide instructional and behavioral support to students under supervision of teachers. Works with students with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; either 48 semester units / Associate Degree or higher, AA/BA degree, or paraprofessional proficiency certificate; pre-employment steps required.
Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.
