Manteca Unified School District seeks a paraeducator to provide instructional and behavioral support to students, under supervision of certificated staff. The role involves working with students across ages who have various handicaps and learning needs.
Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, supporting behavior plans, and monitoring progress. Pre-employment steps include TB clearance, fingerprinting, and submitting recommendations.
Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

OR Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test.
High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.

Available work shift: Monday - Friday, 8:20 a.m. - 2:20 p.m. (1/2 hr. lunch) OR 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (1/2 hr. lunch)
