The position requires an Associate degree or 48 credits (Bachelor’s preferred), Mass. DESE CORI on file, and prior classroom experience. Proficiency with educational technology is desired. This is a full-time, on-site role with a pay range of $18 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work collaboratively with faculty and parents/guardians to promote the educational development of students.
• Physical requirements described including mobility and lifting up to 20+ pounds frequently.
• Environmental conditions include indoor/outdoor exposure and need for proper attire.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementation of general educational accommodations and special education instruction per IEP or 504 Plan.
• May assist with self-care and independent skills in appropriate programs.
• Escort and assist students as necessary to support learning.
• Serve as a resource to the evaluation team while maintaining confidentiality policies.
• Support teachers by implementing modifications to materials and instructional strategies.
• Maintain records and comply with policies and procedures.
• Participate in professional development as needed.
• Any other duties assigned by Principal or Superintendent.
