Qualifications

• Need to demonstrate Para-Pro metrics or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of college with required ELA/Math coursework.
• An associate degree with required ELA/Math hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists in meeting instructional needs under direction of teacher.
• Interacts with students to maintain conducive learning environment.
• Assists with personal possessions and classroom materials.
• Maintains discipline according to school regulations.
• Assists with equipment and assistive devices as directed.
• Attends meetings and conferences when requested.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports health-related tasks as needed.
• Lifts/moves students and assists with medical needs after training.
• Participates in meetings and professional development.

Education

ETS Para-Pro Assessment 450+ passing score

Two years college with 9 hrs ELA and 9 hrs Math

Associate degree with 9 hrs ELA and 9 hrs Math

High school diploma or GED
