Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools ISD 284 is seeking a Special Education Clerical Paraprofessional to provide administrative and scheduling support for the special education department, school, and community, while upholding confidentiality. This is a hands‑on position that requires energy, organization, and the ability to manage interruptions and multiple tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED with 1–3 years of related experience, strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency

Position Description

The Special Education Clerical Paraprofessional will provide administrative & scheduling support to the special education department, school, and public community by communicating information, addressing problems, providing support to the special education director, special education staff, principal, and students, and maintaining the special education office efficiently and professionally so that school business can be conducted and managed effectively while maintaining strict confidentiality.
This is an extremely hands‑on position that will require someone with the skills, energy, and creativity to ensure that the office runs smoothly despite regular interruptions. The successful candidate will be required to tactfully take charge of tasks and schedules to ensure successful completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience.
